Sculptor

Aarti Gupta Bhadauria

“My work is my soul. My sculptures reflect waves of feelings. When we are emotional, we feel different waves inside us, I show the different forms of these waves through sculptures.

As painter starts the creativity on paper, I start mine on clay. I maintain my unique style in terracotta. First, I start with making a big block of clay, then carve it slowly each day. My sculptures are aerial and without any armature. It takes me three to four months to make one sculpture. Terracotta is the oldest and ancient medium for art, and I have chosen it to promote with modern ideas.”
